Gossip Pop employs an amalgam of performance and video to create a simulacrum of pop and celebrity culture, and serious performance art.

Involving sampling, displacement and deconstruction in the tradition of beat poetry, feminist performance and karaoke, Gossip Pop in the words of Lucinda Strahan, ‘elevates bottom dweller journalism to a new, pure entertainment genre termed ‘Gossip Pop’
